Life Story for Hedley Ashley Turner

Turner, Hedley Ashley - passed away gently, after a short illness, on Tuesday August 21, 2012 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay , at the age of 79. Born June 16, 1933 in Wales, Hedley served his country in the British Army and was stationed at the Suez Canal 1951-53.
He is survived by his beloved wife and companion of 26 years, Joan Turner, brother Peter, sister Jill, children Gerry(Nancy) O'Donnell, Greg(Carol) O'Donnell, Joanne(Peter) Varley, Grant(Christine) O'Donnell, Scott(Trudy) O'Donnell, 10 grand children, and 2 great-grand children.
Hedley was an avid tennis player and lover of music, mastering the trumpet.

Visitation will be held at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 PRINCES' ST. WEST, FENELON FALLS on Monday August 27th at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Fenelon Falls Tennis Club would be appreciated by the family.
