Condolence From: MaryAnne & Greg Bailey
Condolence: Dearest Sister, Sharon, brother, Bob, girls Sarah and Rebecca, and your whole family: We, and LEFBC, have been praying in earnest that God would be your source of strength at this time of greatest hurting in each of your lives. Josh was precious to us all, now, Josh is a joy to the Lord, and until we go to heaven ourselves, we will see not Josh... for a time. You/we have lost someone very special... Our hearts share your loss and pain... We long to hold you, to care for you as a mother hen cares for and gathers her chicks... Psalm 46:1- "God is our refuge and strength..." May the God of all Comfort be your great portion, now (especially today) and in the days ahead. Luv in Christ, MaryAnne & Greg Bailey (LEFBC, your home church, who is suffering with you during this great trial... xxoooooo

Condolence: This is still so surreal. So hard to grasp. We feel your pain, your anger, your heart...it's hard to let go. God is totally with you all during this confusing time. He is holding you close and breathing His strength into you. Walk with Him, talk with Him...keep Him at the center of your journey. We will miss Josh. He and Chris were good friends! Praying for all of you...

Condolence: Bob, Sharon, and family, We have been broken for you during this difficult time. We know that you are leaning on the Lord at this time. That is the place you must be to see His comfort and strength to get you through. Philippians 4 has been an chapter of challenge and encouragement to me many times, especially verses 4, 6, 8, and 11. May you know the Lord's blessings in your life in an extra special way as you see Him help you through this. With love and prayers, Scott and Heather

Condolence: Sharon and Bob My heartfelt sympathy, such a shock, you are in my prayers. May God lift you up, enabling you to endure the days ahead and carry with you sweet memories of Josh, he has had such a positive impact here with all the Volunteers at the Halifax Bibles for Mission Thrift, a shinning light that was so contagious. Condolence From: Rick & Rita Murphy
Condolence: We are still dazed with the news... it takes some getting used to as we just saw Bob, Sharon, Sara, Rebecca and Josh only a few weeks ago in Ottawa. Josh used to help Rita remove weeds from our garden and it seems to me that Josh himself had cleared the weeds from his life and was just beginning to blossom. It's cruel that he was cut down so prematurely and it hurts. Our prayers go with Josh and with Bob, Sharon, Sara, Rebecca and Edith - who we know so well. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the entire family. Rick & Rita Murphy

Condolence From: Maureen and Kim Morrison, Lethbridge
Condolence: Dear Sharon, Bob, Rebecca and Sarah Very very sorry to hear about Josh. Words really are inadequate right now. One short memory to maybe bring a little smile. It is Stampede time out here again and it is impossible to think about Stampede without thinking about the many free breakfasts and lunches we went to. Remember we would load all the kids, strollers and wagons into vehicles and head out. Long lines or light rain didn't stop us and while all the kids were excited it was Joshua who was most enthusiastic. So bubbly and happy to be in the middle of things, he enjoyed himself to the limit. His happiness was contagious. We are thinking of you.

Condolence: Bob, Sharon, Rebecca and Sarah Josh was a pleasure to know. We could see the love you surrounded him with. There are times that it seems more than we can bear when a son leaves this earth before his parents. I know, from personal experience, that God will help you thru the pain until only the happy memories remain. Thinking of you and caring. God be with you. Debbie and Paul

Condolence From: Sharon McCartney(nee Sonnenberg)
Condolence: Bob, Sharon, Rebecca and Sarah our hearts and prays are with you all at this sad time in all of our lives. As a family we have always been spread out across Canada but we have always been kept updated on our family members. I remember Josh as a newborn he was bright, cheerful and made all around him full of love and life. As a child he was always helpful, with a thirst to learn and explore. As a teen his thirst for knowledge continued both in school and church, he thrived on helping those less fortunate and those in his daily life. As a young man Josh was still bright, cheerful, helpful, seeking knowledge, and proud of both his accomplishments and those of his family. Last time I spoke with Josh he was so excited to explore the next chapter of his life. For the few times that our lives passed he always left me with a smile, a laugh, a respect for live and all its little gifts. He was a blessing to your family and to all his family and friends. He may not be with us in body but we will always have him within our hearts in our own special way. Our hugs and prays. Sharon and Lorna McCartney Joel and Iain Thibideau
