It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Kristy, 80 years, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. She passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents Oliver and Eva Ellis and her husband, Eugene. Mother of William (Nancy), Brian (Wendie), Valerie (Bud). Grandchildren Alexa (Eric), Jessica, Nicole Wade (Clint), Zachary, Christopher (Crystal) Balkou, Tyler Balkou. Great grandchildren Lanaya, Bradley and Audrey. Sister of Donald Ellis (Betty), and predeceased by her sisters Olive Watts and Ann Orbeck. The family of Mrs. Kristy will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes St. West, Fenelon Falls on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers, to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by family.
