Entered into rest on Thursday, November 25th in his 65th year. Bob Gamsby was well known as a local brick mason and volunteer firefighter with Fenelon Falls for 27 years of duty. He leaves behind his wife and soulmate, Anne Gamsby. (nee Patterson) Loving father of Andrew Gamsby and his wife Joanna of Fenelon Falls and Matt Gamsby and his wife Elora of Kitchener. Doting Papa of Ella, Blake and Nora. Bob was the son of late Lois (2020) and Joe Gamsby (1992). Dear brother of Paul Gamsby and his wife Karen of Peterborough and Glenda and Rick Hughes of Fenelon Falls. Brother-in-law of June and her husband Mike McKenna, Marylou Way and her partner Arlan Telford of Bobcaygeon and Glenn Patterson and his wife Joann of Fenelon Falls. Bob will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and as well as many friends he made across the region as a mason, firefighter or while participating in community events. Bob was very proud of his community of Fenelon Falls. The family of Robert Gamsby invite friends to visit with them on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Fenelon Falls United Church, 123 Colborne Street, Fenelon Falls. A 'Celebration of Life' service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Proof of vaccination along with identification or a negative covid-antigen test and identification within 48 hours is required. If desired memorial donation to the Cancer Society, Fenelon Falls United Church or Fenelon Falls Fire Fighters Assoc. would be appreciated by the family.
