Condolence: Shirley and family, As I cut out Bill Waite's death notice in the paper, I was so saddened to see Les, right next to him. I would often see Les and Shirley on our road, on their way to visit Bill and Kay Waite. The two of them were always so friendly whenever I'd bump into them in town. We have many memories of our time at FFUC, with Les sitting in the balcony for many years, and then on the "alto" side when he moved downstairs. He shared a hospital room at the Ross with John and they became fast friends. His phone calls to John to check up on him will always be very special to us both .
