We are saddened to announce that our beloved sister and friend Joyce Ellery has passed away at the age of 89. She went to be with her Lord and Saviour in the early hours of December 17, 2019 with family by her side. Joyce was born and raised in Fenelon Falls, working her full life with The Salvation Army. She is predeceased by her parents Jack and Ruby and brother Allan (1954). She was the beloved sister of Jean Graham (Melville-2011) and Bob and Betty Ellery. Dear Aunt of Brenda Hope (Bob-2012), Ken Graham (Maureen), Janice McEwan (Craig), Scott Ellery (Heidi), Brent Ellery (Amy), Terry Ellery (Tamara). Joyce has a special place in the lives of many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her best friend, Marguerite Lloyd. The family of Joyce will receive friends at the SALVATION ARMY CITADEL, 42 Bond Street West, Fenelon Falls, on Sunday, December 29th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the SALVATION ARMY CITADEL with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A reception will follow. Interment will take place in the spring at Fenelon Falls Cemetery. If desired memorial donations to the Salvation Army, Fenelon Falls Citadel, would be appreciated by the family.
