Fletcher, Barbara Evelyn

Peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Ross Memorial Hospital. Barb Fletcher (née Wood) of Fenelon Falls was in her 73rd year.  Beloved wife of 47 years to Floyd Fletcher. Cherished mother of Shaun Fletcher and his partner Seetha Wigneswaran of East Gwillimbury. Becky and her husband Brennen Wilson of Bobcaygeon and Amy Fletcher and her partner Dan Balnave of London, England.  Loving 'Grammy’ of Zohy and Vox and loving ‘Meemaw’ of Ted and Felix.  Barb will be forever missed by her sisters; Susan Wood of Bobcaygeon, Tami and her husband Ken Hodgson of Fenelon Falls, her brother; David Lyndon Wood and his wife Jenny, also of Fenelon Falls and pre-deceased by her other siblings; Barry Wood (2001), Fern Allen (2009), and Tim Wood (2017).   Auntie Barb will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews along with all her adopted nieces and nephews. Barb was a driving force in our community from her involvement with Santa Day, the skating club and any other community events that required an extra set of creative and skilled hands. She was also a mother figure and steadfast supporter to many students in her role as Educational Assistant at FFSS and IE Weldon. The kids loved her.  A very special and sincere thank you to the 4th Floor staff and the Respiratory team at Ross Memorial Hospital.
