Peacefully at Fenelon Court Long Term Care in Fenelon Falls, on Friday, October 14, 2022. Bernice Steward formerly of Streetsville was in her 88th year.  Dear daughter of the late Mabel Emily Peachman (1987) and the late Horace Willcox Steward (1982). Also pre-deceased by her only sibling, her brother, the late Gerald Arthur Steward (2003). Bernice is survived by Gerald's family; her sister-in-law, Nelia Macmillan, her niece Lisa Vehrs and husband Jason, her nephew Christopher Steward, and her great-nephews Walker and Dexter Vehrs.  

"Don't worry about me. I have gone to a better place and will be with our Sovereign Lord and His precious Son, Our Saviour Jesus Christ forever, and I hope to be reunited with Mom, Dad, Ger, and my beloved cats that I have had during the course of my long life, Chimo, Skipper, Jaimee, Cayce, Foxx and Jake."

The family of Bernice Steward wish to thank the staff at Fenelon Court Nursing Home for her care over the last few months. A special thank you to Judy, her superintendent in her apartment building in Streetsville who took the time to provide extra care over and above.  As per Bernice's wishes, she has been cremated and now is with her beloved family and cats again.
