Peacefully at Fenelon Court Long Term Care, in Fenelon Falls, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in her 97th year. Berta was the beloved wife of the late Frank Hickey (2016). Loving mother of Margaret-Anne and her husband David Billings of Trent Lakes. Dear grandmother of David Francis Billings of Newmarket and great grandmother to his children; Taylor and MacKenzie. Sister of Marion Austin, Doreen Shosenberg, Peggy Rettie and her brothers John Handley and Ray Handley all pre-deceased.

A private family Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kinmount followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.
