Obituary for Beverley Anne Puddister (Lade)

It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful Mother and Grammie, Beverley Anne Puddister, who passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Sutherland, parents Douglas and Audrey Lade and brother Wayne. Beverley is survived by her children Tammi Clancy (Steve), Tracy Puddister and Tim Puddister (Tanya). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Amanda Puddister (Jason), Adam Clancy (Elizabeth), Jake Clancy and Emma Puddister, as well as her great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her dear close friends. Beverley was a very kind and extremely loving person, who had a zest for life. She moved to a charming, humble house on the bank of the Burnt River in rural Ontario 20 years ago. Her happy place was pottering around in her perennial gardens. She enjoyed doing projects around the house or simply just sitting and watching the birds that visited her feeders every day. Beverley liked to travel, loved doing crossword puzzles and had a passion for baking (her butter tarts were the best ever!!) She accomplished many things throughout her life, went to beauty school at age 16, owned her own hair salon and worked in a marine supply store (where she met Thomas). They moved to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for the better part of 7 years where they managed a small boutique condo rental business. She excelled in the Spanish classes she took to learn the national language. Before retirement, she worked at CardioMed for many years. Special thanks to the outstanding, Dr Sara-Lynn Francis and the entire nursing team at Ross Memorial Hospital who cared for Mom in her final weeks. Whatever life dealt Mom she never wavered and she faced it head on like a true warrior. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jardine Funeral Home in Fenelon Falls. Cremation has taken place, interment and private celebration of life to follow.
