Surrounded by the love of her family, on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Mariposa House Hospice in Orillia. Deirdre Jones (nee Bell) was in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late David William Jones (2014). Loving mother of John and his wife Janine of Midland and Christine and her husband Nick Richardson of Fenelon Falls. Dearest Noni of Ryan, Owen, Aidan, Amanda and her husband Brad, Amber and her fiancé Nathaniel and Anthony. Great-grandmother of Penelope, Hannah and Hazel. Dee is survived by her sister Virginia and her husband Allan Bodiam of Brampton.

The family of Dee Jones will honour her life on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, on the anniversary of her passing, with a celebration of life ceremony at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of  JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W. Fenelon Falls.  Friends and family are invited to gather beginning at 1:00p.m. prior to the ceremony and if possible please wear something blue to help us celebrate. 

In keeping with Dee's wishes an interment of her cremated remains will be held later at Beechwood Cemetery. Our family would like to thank all the staff at Mariposa House Hospice for all the care and love you showed our mom and us in the last weeks of her life. We would also like to thank Dr. Sara- Lynn Francis for her care and support through our Moms illness.
