LEE, Dorothy Helen With great sadness we announce that Helen passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Marvin Lee (d. 2013) Dear Mother to John Lee (d. 1995) Renee Duggan (Bill), Terry Lee (Sandra, predeceased) and Philip Lee. She was the cherished Grandma to Brian (Marie-Lyne), Christa (Jeremy), Aaron and Shaylene. Great Grandma to Derrick, Elyssa, Marshall, Piper, Paisley, Parker and Phoenix. Helen is survived by her brother Bob Brown (Phyllis – Spike), predeceased by Jim Brown (Faye), sister-in-law Dianne Pethick (Bill, predeceased). She is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. A special thanks to the caring staff at Victoria House Retirement Home in Orillia, where she lived for the last 4 years. Helen was born at Head Lake on the Bailey farm and studied to become a Registered Nurse for 30 years. After meeting Marvin and marrying in 1957, they had a wonderful life on the Lee farm at Cameron and then 20+ years in Parry Sound and then retired and returned to build their retirement home on a parcel of the Lee farm, where she immersed herself back into the community, teaching Tai Chi into her 70’s.  A gathering to remember Helen's life will take place on Saturday April 30, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls.
