Condolence: Dear Heather, Bill, Bob and Mary Rose, My deepest sympathies with the loss of your father and the people's "Doc. Bill" Our families spent some fun times together in Fenelon and Huntsville and those memories always make me smile. Doc Bill was always a fun loving and very caring man, and a wonderful family Dr., who yes, did make a lot of house calls! We were fortunate to have had him as our Dr., neighbour and family friend. Condolence: I want to add my condolences to Sheila and all the members of the Graham family. As others have already noted, Doc Bill was justly regarded as one of the most highly regarded members of the community. At the same time, he was consistently one of the nicest and best people one could ever meet. I enjoyed every conversation I had with him, and always looked forward to the next one. We are all richer for having known him.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of the loss of your father and such a beloved member of the Fenelon Falls community. We did not have the privilege of meeting him during our 28 years in Lindsay, but know that many were touched by his professional caring and sense of shared humanity. May God lead you gently through your time of mourning and into the anticipation of new life in your family.

Condolence From: Maxine Brandon
Condolence: So Very sorry to see that Doc Bill has gone to Heaven. I was doing some family genealogy and came across his Notice. I had been thinking of him a lot in the last 2 years to see if he had any of our family medical records? but couldn't seem to locate his address. Dr Bill was my doctor when I was born. I remember him pricking my finger for blood to test to see if I was anemic and he sent me for my tonsil operation. He was there when my Dad had his 3rd and fatal heartattack,I was just turned 4 and can remember him taking Dad;s blood pressure and shaking his head to my Mom. He looked after us all...Max G. Brandon, Betty,Paul ,Billy and Maxine. Bobby used to knock on our Door at 8 Princes' and say "can Mawhene come out and play"> What a fabulously attentive and kind humane Doctor, across the street neighbor, a kind, gentle humanitarian, They don't make gentlemen and Doctors anymore like Doc Bill" . Wishing you well in Heaven,Doc.

Condolence From: Carol Dowdle (Barriball)
Condolence: Our heartfelt condolences are with you all at this very sad time in your lives. I too (along with 9 other siblings) was a Dr Bill baby. He was a very kind and gentle man and was loved by all. He knew my Mom and Dad very well - who wouldn't with 10 kids... Even though there were so many of us in the family, he seemed to remember our name and where we stood in the list from oldest to youngest. He was a very big part of a lot of lives and will be missed.

Condolence: Doc Bill was like the cornerstone of the town for me. He brought Paul and I here in 1971 and mentored Paul for many years. He delivered both my girls and still asked after them the last time I saw him.Everyone in town knew Bill as a kind and caring man who supported his community in everything he did. I remember curling against him and I remember his long time support of the roundup bonspiel. And the time his cattle ended up on the 9th green at Sturgeon Point golf course. He loved farming snd he loved life. You, his family will miss him terribly. Congratulations for allowing him to die on his own terms and in his own house. My condolences for you all and my prayers for strength and good memories as you take the journey of grief.

Condolence: As with most of our generation, I too , was one of Doc Bill's babies. My Dad Clarence knew Doc Bill well from many years working at Sturgeon Point. Dad passed in July but always remembered Doc Bill telling Dad that he was nine months older than him. Dad knowing his own age could not believe Dr Bill was as old as him. Such a funny and refined Man all wrapped up in one. I remember he was the anethestist when I had my tonsils removed at the end of grade eight and he sang and whistled his heart out in the OR as he put me under! Lol. We have lost an icon of the community and I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family and all who knew and loved him. He will be sorely missed.

Condolence: Sheila and family our deep regrets and condolences on the passing of a fantastic gentlemen. Doc was a great guy and fellow lodge member. We always talked when he came to lodge and he gave me advice when I was master. He will be greatly missed by all. I found this proverb and I thought it was appropriate and hopefully provide some solace to you and the family. "Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." ~Eskimo Proverb Glenn & Lou Woolfrey

Condolence: To the Graham family. Doctor Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A loving and caring soul, who never forgot any of his babies, the circumstances of their birth and always wanted to know how they were doing. I know he was always special to our family for the love and support he showed my parents in bringing them to Fenelon and welcoming my dad into the practice. My dad was proud to follow in his footsteps. My prayers are with all of you even though I cannot be there in person. I am proud to be one of his babies.
