EVANS, Edna:

Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 in her 98th year. Edna was the beloved wife of the late Harold Evans. Loving mother of the late Wayne and his wife Doreen, Brian and his wife Charlene, Sherry and her husband Wayne McDonald.   Devoted Gram to David, Shaun, Jennifer, Justin and Jesse and Great Grandmother of 6. 
Edna was a beautiful soul with a wonderful sense of humour who loved her family and friends and they all loved her back just as much. She was always there for everyone. She was the best listener and never judged. Edna made everyone feel like family and welcomed them openly into her home and life.Edna enjoyed baking (cookies and pies were her specialty), oil painting, choir singing and was a lover of birds and animals especially her dogs past and present. She was a long time member of the UCW and for years was actively involved with her whole family in Scouting.  

A celebration of Edna’s life will take place at Fenelon Falls United Church, 123 Colborne St., Fenelon Falls, on Saturday, January 14th at 1:30 p.m with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or memorial donations to your charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
