CHORT, Edward Fred:

Passed away at Case Manor, Bobcaygeon surrounded by his family and friends on Wednesday June 3, 2015 in his 79th year. Ed was the beloved husband of the late Helen Marie Chort (nee Gaudet). Loving father of Mitchell Chort, Wayne and his wife Debbie Chort, Sandra Lee Chort. Grandfather of Amanda Chort (Brad Lyons), Ashley Chort (Jason Szakacsi), Alexa Chort and great grandfather of Cali and Maverick Szakacsi, and Harlin Shelley-Chort. Brother of Annie Woods and pre-deceased by his brothers and sisters. Remembered by his nieces and nephews. The family of Mr. Chort will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Saturday June 6, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Fenelon Falls Cemetery. Memorial donations to Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
