Obituary for Fay Patterson
It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Fay Patterson (nee Herdman) entered into rest on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 84th year. Loving wife of 63 years of Norman Patterson of Fenelon Falls. Cherished mother of Teresa and her husband Sam Lazarevich of Goderich and Sheryl and her husband Norman Batty of Fenelon Falls. Fantastic 'Memaw' of Spencer, Sammy, Liam, Avery and Olivia. Fay is pre-deceased by her siblings, Don Herdman, Doreen Morton and Lynn Paterson. She will be fondly remembered by her brother-in-law, Rob Paterson of Simcoe and Russell and Lilly Patterson of Lakefield along with several other extended family members.
The family of Fay Patterson will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, on Wednesday, December 22nd from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 2:00p.m. All friends and family must be double vaccinated or show a negative rapid antigen test taken within 48 hours, along with photo identification. The family would like to thank the staff on D5 and the ICU at Peterborough Health Centre for the kind and compassionate care. Thank you to Dr. Heather Cox of the Peterborough Vascular Clinic for all she did help our Mom. A very special and heartfelt thanks to Mom's ICU nurses, Amanda. Amanda treated Mom with the utmost respect and the way she cared for our family during this time will not be forgotten.
