Passed away at St. Joseph's at Fleming in Peterborough on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the age of 93. Loving mother of Kevin(Sandra) and Colleen(Keith). Proud grandma of Jenna(Jeff), Melissa(Matt), Andra(Ben) and Tyler. Dear great grandma of Vesper, Arjen, Jude and baby Joy Bernice. Predeceased by her husband Herbert James Stewart, March 2010. Fern loved her family and her animals. She loved to sew and quilted until her arthritic hands no longer allowed. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Memorial donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or Animal Rescue KREW, Lakefield would be appreciated by the family.
