Wood, Janet Naomi

Passed away during her sleep on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her home with her husband nearby. Janet Wood (nee Ervin) of Fenelon Falls was in her 74th year.  Beloved wife of Ross Wood. Loving mother of Christopher and his partner Natasha Bood of Milton and Laura and her husband Cameron Shaver of Kitchener and special grandma to Simon, Isla, Hawksley, Felix and Wilbert. Dear sister of Eleanor and her husband Rick Goodman of Oakville and pre-deceased by her brothers David Ervin (2018) and Scott Ervin (2022).  Janet was the cherished aunt of Kristen Koumbiadis (Neale), Alison Goodman (Heather), Eric Goodman (Megan), Jennifer Meyer (Glenn) and Kerry Penfound.  The family of Janet Wood will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  A ceremony to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with a reception following.  If desired memorial contributions to the University Health Network (on the memo line please add: Peter Munk Cardiac Centre) would be appreciated by the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, make a donation or to share a story or photo please visit: www.jardinefuneralhome.com
