Jean passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family in Fenelon Falls on October 1, 2021 at the age of 87. Jean was predeceased by her son, Todd Chafe, and leaves behind her eldest son Henry Chafe (Patricia) of Alliston, daughters, Judy Blears (Frank) of Cannington, Kim Lawrence (Dana) of Fenelon Falls, Heather Ratz of Arizona, and Angie Chafe (Mike) of Fenelon Falls. Jean was a very proud Nanny to her eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, who will all miss her infinitely. She will also be dearly missed by her many other family members and close friends. In her last years, Jean loved watching game shows with family and her fur baby Miles. She will be fondly remembered for her love of baking, crocheting, and bird watching. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial to take place at a later date.
