GUSTERSON, Jean Elizabeth (nee Telfer); passed away peacefully at Fenelon Court Long Term Care Centre in Fenelon Falls, Ontario on Monday, April 25, 2016 at age 89. Born in London, England in 1926, Jean and her late husband George (Bill) Gusterson (1988) arrived in Canada in 1952 and settled in Highland Creek, Ontario. In 1976, they made the Fenelon Falls area their home and were known for many years as the proprietors of Fenelon Fish ‘n’ Chips and Union Creek Fish ‘n’ Chips where Jean’s homemade pies were loved by all. Mum to Graham (Donna), Steven (Lori), Debra Churchill-Harding (Harold) and the late Lisa (1978). Nan to Julie (Tyler), Christine (Fadi), Gregory and Alissa, Douglas (Kodi), Nigel. Great grandmother to Brayden, Madisyn, Ashton, Cohen, Leah, Zara, Jennah, Layla, Noah and Mason, Sawyer, Harlowe, Coast. Jean is survived by her siblings Pamela, Barbara, Tony and predeceased by Peter. In keeping with Jean’s wishes, there will be no memorial service but she would be happy to know that donations were made in her name to Sick Kids Hospital.
