Obituary

DEYELL, Jenna:
"Sometimes the tiniest star can shine the brightest."
Our family and community has lost one of the very brightest stars. Loved by absolutely everyone, Jenna Deyell passed away peacefully on Monday October 5, 2020, after losing her battle with pancreatic cancer. She will be deeply missed by her father Dan, mother Julie, her husband Rob, brother Jim, his partner Erin, grandmother Joan Deyell, her many Aunts, Uncles and cousins of both the Simpson and Deyell families, as well as a long list of caregivers, professionals and the countless friends which Jenna made along the way. We would encourage any donations to be made towards Jenna's most favourite place of all, Easter Seals - Camp Merrywood, a place where the staff refer to Jenna as their 'Iconic camper'. Alternatively, the Canadian Cancer Society. To leave an on-line condolence, make a memorial donation to or share a story please visit: www.jardinefuneralhome.com

We are so very sorry to hear this sad news. Haylie was a classmate in many of Jenna's classes over the years and has fond memories of spending time with her. Haylie enjoyed visiting Jenna at her house. When Jenna came to Haylie's birthday party, she was the life of the party dancing to the music. Jenna had a bubbly, sweet nature that was enjoyed by all! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With heartfelt sympathy and hugs,
Brad, Lucy, Tara and Haylie Cordick

I have lots of wonderful memories from working with Jenna. It was my first job and more than just babysitting, but my time spent with Jenna left a huge imprint on my life. We began our journeys of learning sign language together and I still share stories as I teach my students how to sign now. I learned a lot from her over the years. J am saddend by the news of her passing. My condolences to everyone experiencing her loss.
