HALLIDAY, Joan

Peacefully with family and friends at her side at her home in Ottawa on Saturday December 10, 2022 in her 93rd year. Joan was the beloved wife, firstly of the late Gordon Watkin, and for the last 43 years of the late Robert Halliday. Remembered with love by her daughter Nancy and her husband Grant Lane, her grandchildren Miriam, Alicia, Simon, Erin and Andrew and their families including nine great grandchildren to whom she was affectionately known as GG. Also remembered with love by close family friends and the many students with whom she came into contact over the years. Joan was the daughter of the late George and Madeline Wright and was predeceased by her brother William and her sisters Frances, Phyllis, Ruth and Mary. A special thanks to the kind and caring staff of both Oakpark Retirement Home and Waterford Retirement Home. A private interment will be held at Fenelon Falls Cemetery.
