Jack peacefully passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Fenelon Court Long Term Care in his 87th year. Beloved husband and companion of Susan Howitt (nee Bird - McWatters) and pre-deceased by his first wife Marlene (nee Smith). Dear father of Michael Howitt and his wife Susan of Markham. Loving grandfather of Christina and her husband Drew Slobodian, Amanda and her husband Erick Espiritu Santo and great-grandfather of Jayce Slobodian. Jack will be missed greatly by his sister, Jean Jaques of Lindsay and was pre-deceased by his brother Bill Howitt. Jack will also be fondly remembered by his step-children, Katherine and her husband Lennard Matsumoto and Christine and her husband Darrell Sharpe and his step-grandchildren, James, Brandon, Conor, Mitchell. If desired memorial donations to The Masonic Foundation of Ontario, Alzheimer's Society/Kawartha Lakes or Fenelon Court Long Term Care Residents Fund would be appreciated.
