After a long battle with Alzheimer's, our mother, Mildred "Joy" Stange (nee Knettle) has gone to be with her beloved Rolf in heaven. She was the youngest child of John and Ethel. She is pre deceased by sisters Annie, Luella and Alberta and brother Oscar. She was in her 91st year. She is survived by her daughter Janice and her husband Ron and son Dean and his wife Angela. Missed by her grandchildren Madison, Caitlin and Tyler. Also missed by her special friend Bernice. The family of Joy Stange will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m and on Saturday from 1:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m. with a time of reflection at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Kawartha Lakes or Peterborough Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
