With great sadness the family of Kathy Tate announces her sudden passing on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Her family will miss her beautiful smile that could light up a room. Kathy was the loving wife of George Tate for 41 years of marriage. Beloved daughter of the late Lorne and Edith Metcalf. Dearest sister to Murray (April), Janet (Guillaume) and Laurel (Bert). and dear sister-in-law to John (Bev), Penny (Steve) and Gerry. Special aunt and great-aunt to many loved nieces and nephews. Wonderful friend to Allan and Colleen and many others. Kathy adored her four-legged companions Duffy, Charley, Herbie and Holly, who provided endless happiness and fun times. Kathy worked for more than 37 years at Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority in Oshawa and enjoyed her time working. Kathy and George always vacationed in the Kawartha's and loved it so much they moved here to be close to the outdoors in order to enjoy their love of boating and snowmobiling.
