I remember so well. Such a lovely presence in my life. My father's sister was more than a member of extended family. She was so warm and real, and had a twinkle in her eye. She had open arms to all, hosting family reunions and warm weekends at the farm. In my youth, she was the centre of the family, keeping us together and providing lots of fun, smart humour, good food and adventures for the cousins. I see her wearing hats and reciting poetry, all to light our lives. She seemed to be a gentle soul, with soft hands and a sweet smile. I will remember her with such love. I send my love and sympathy to all the family.
