Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday June 25, 2017, Maurice passed away in his 98th year. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Weldon (nee Williams) of Fenelon Falls and predeceased by Gladys Arthur (1971). Loving father of Debbie and her husband John DiBendetto of Georgia. Cherished grandfather to Christina (Marshall) Bryant and Christopher (Carissa) DiBenedetto. He was a caring father, grandfather and husband who will be greatly missed. Maurice was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and the Antique and Classic Boat Society. He encouraged a love and enjoyment of all aspects of boating from antique to classic style boats. The family of Maurice Weldon will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ St. W., Fenelon Falls on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 11:00 a.m until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Fenelon Falls Cemetery. A Masonic Lodge service will be held prior to visitation at 10:30 a.m. If desired memorial donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children – Canada would be appreciated by the family.
