It was such a shock to learn of Michael's death. We first got to know Michael as a customer at the Duke of Richmond and then at Foster's. He became a good friend to myself and all the staff, joining in all our parties and events. Michael never forgot my birthday and my box of Godiva chocolate! Thank you Michael for all the happy memories. On behalf of myself and all the staff who worked at Foster's I send our sincerest condolences to his family.
Michael was one of a kind.

Condolence: I just lost one of the closest people in the world and the world lost a rare gem of a man. When I say Mike was like a brother, that is putting it mildly. My deepest condolences go out to the Somers family and all of the many many many friends and people that Mike touched over his short time here on this earth. A rare soul indeed and I hope he is riding all over heaven on that bike of his like he used to all over Toronto. "Mike please say hi to mom for me". One of the few people that I could talk to about anything and I knew we were both on the same page. Gonna miss you brother and Karen and I will be there on the 29th to give you your final send off.
