What can we say that would adequately portray the person that Morag Hardie meant to her family.

Mother of eldest daughter Kasey (Chapman), her constant caregiver and husband Ian, Morag appreciated his culinary skills and the many meals he prepared for her. She loved that he affectionately referred to her as ‘Hollywood’, a name endorsed by many.

Daughter Adrienne (Ness) who shared her birthday giving them a special bond with husband Drew, their gift to her was her three grandchildren, 17 year old Leith, who made her proud as a champion motocross racer and twins, Fyfe, with his ever loving and caring personality and Tavea, who delighted in shopping and eating out with her nana.

Morag’s son John and his partner, Erin, delighted her with her youngest granddaughter, Willow.

Morag was the living sister of Sandra Barrett and provided many hours of entertainment through her sense of humour that was evident to the last hours of her life.

Morag was predeceased by her late husband and best friend Chis Hardie and was stepmother to his 4 sons, Chris, Colin, Andrew and Tom who live in Scotland with their families.

We will  really miss you Morag and will continue to laugh at your antics long after our grief has subsided.
