Obituary for Morris John Young

Morris John Young (aka Fudgee) passed away peacefully at his home in Rosedale on Sunday, April 4th, just 11 days short of his 71st birthday. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Lee Young (Dolan), his parents George and Mary Young, his brother Ken, sister April Bond (Young), brother-in-law Michael Bond, sister Susan Young and her husband Paul Wubbolts, sister-in-law Sharon and her husband Ray Chambers, niece and nephew Kimberlee and Kevin Chambers and many other family members. Morris was well known in the community for his beautiful woodturning pieces, which he sold under the business name "Wood Turning by Fudgee". He showed his work at the Kawartha Arts Festival, The Fenelon Train Station Gallery as well as several businesses throughout the Kawarthas. He was an avid member of the Kawartha Woodturner's Guild where he often won prizes for his work. He also enjoyed being an active member of the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism. Morris was well known for his gentle and caring spirit, his cheerful sense of humour and will be sorely missed throughout the community. Arrangements have been entrusted to JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, Ontario.
