Life Story for Murray Alexander McInnis

Passed away peacefully at home with his wife Hazel and daughter Nancy by his side on Monday March 29, 2010 in his 74th year. He was the beloved husband of Hazel (Clayton) whom he met on October 31st, 1957 and married on June 11, 1960.
He was the proud father of Heather and her husband Mike Dumont of Sundridge, Nancy and her husband Craig Cadenhead of Beaverton and Brian McInnis of Kinmount. Adored grandfather of Nicole and her husband Mike Bonneau of Embrun, Tabetha McInnis and her partner Adam Styles of Fenelon Falls, Carter McInnis and Morgan McInnis both of Fenelon Falls, and Jason Cadenhead of Bowmanville.
Brother-in-law of Murray and Joan Clayton of Cannington and uncle and great uncle to Mark and Shelly Clayton, Mark and Cassandra of Lorneville, Marlene Otter, Mackenzie and Nicholas of Cannington, and Scott and Darel Clayton and Gianluca of the Bahamas.
Murray was the only son of the late John McInnis and Emma Truman. He will be missed by his friends at the Sugar Shack Hunt Camp and The Kinmount Agricultural Society. Murray was a councillor with the former Eldon Township from 1979-1988. The family of Mr. McInnis will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 8 Princes' Street West, Fenelon Falls on Thursday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Good Friday April 2, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Argyle Cemetery.
