Suddenly at home in Oshawa on Monday, September 10, 2018 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Glenda Delong (nee Murchison) for 51 years. Loving father of Michelle Delong and Nicole Delong (Daniel Martin). Proud Grandpa of William and Quinn. Dear brother of Allan Delong and his wife Judy, Bruce Delong and his wife Margaret, Lenora and her husband Walter Herbst. Pre-deceased by his brothers Carl and John Delong and brother-in-law Fred McLean. Survived by his sister-in-laws; Ruth Delong and Olive Delong as well as Glenda’s sister, Marilyn McLean. Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Norm loved nothing better than spending time with his family, striking up conversation with his neighbours and spending summer days at the cottage.

The family of Norman Delong will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, on Monday, September 17th for visitation from 3:00 p.m. until the time of complete funeral service in the chapel at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Caleb Kim will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date at Eden Cemetery.
