Condolences

Condolence From: Pj Murray
Condolence: Al and are so sorry we were unable to make it to yeh lake this weekend for Patty, Mom, Grandma's celebration of life.
We were sick and didn't want to infect others. With the weather I hope others were able to make it.

People are only gone when we no longer talk about them. Patty was to entrenched in all things Romany Ranch to be eliminated from stories. There won't be a RRCA picnic day or other celebration that we won't say remember when Patty would ... .

Wout, Suzanne, Beth and Greg - there are really no words to express what a blow this is for your family, know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

In remembrance, Pj and Al

Condolence: Dear Wout and Family,
It is so sad to hear of Pat's passing. It is never easy even though she struggled at the end, those left behind always want more time with those who leave early. The Trefoil Guild started shortly after we all finished high school. We worked on projects and everyone helped. Every gathering was fun. Pat was always involved; she was part of the glue that kept us together. I will miss her. All my condolences and prayers to you and your family. You meant the world to her.

Condolence: It seems hard to believe that our friendship spanned nearly 60 years. We first met as 16 year olds in Rangers and then continued in Our Trefoil Guild. We were bridesmaids at each other's wedding and continued to be very close friends as couples. Our 4 children, and Suzie, Beth and Greg were born in a span of 7 years. Those years form special memories.
Pat was the queen of extremely well done handicrafts so her picture here is so typical. Pat's memories are saved in her crafts that adorn our house.
Thankfully, her pain and suffering are over but her passing has left a huge hole in my heart. She was indeed a special friend! I will miss her.
God bless Wouter, Suzie and John, Beth and Dave, Greg and Aleta and Tina and Griff. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.

Condolence: I am saddened to hear the news of my childhood friend Patty. Only recently I thought of her and wanted to get in touch. I will remember the good times we had on Blythdale and Blythwood -skating outside ,babysitting together ,walking home from school together and Friday night dances. I was always welcome into her home and also at the lake. I am comforted to know that she had a rich family life with children and grandchildren.

Condolence From: Ainslie Fry
Condolence: So very sorry to read of Patty's passing. It doesn't seem all that long ago back in the 70's & 80's that Jason and Greg were at Baythorn together and Patty, Cathy Craig and I would go out for a day of gal shopping. I have relayed the sad news to Jason and he sends his condolences as well. We will all be thinking of your Family at this difficult time.

Condolence: Although it has been many years since seeing the Bakkers, it seems like yesterday we were watching Greg and Danny play hockey. Patty was always the best 'hockey mom', and we spent many hours sitting in the stands cheering the team on. We know she will be missed, and Wout and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence From: Aleta
Condolence: My heart hurts....we miss you every moment. You are one of the strongest woman I have ever known, and fought through to your last breath. I am eternally grateful to you for your son, and the family we have created. Our children will fondly remember the time spent with you at the lake reading and doing puzzles. They will also be reminded of your constant interest and encouragement in their sports. We have already decided that the next time we hear thunder, it will be you curling in heaven. May you finally rest in peace, free of pain knowing that your legacy of love and support continue with all your family. xoxo
