Jones, Raymond Douglas

Peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay with family at his side. Doug Jones in his 100th year was the beloved husband of Jean Jones (2009). Cedar Hills Farm was the birthplace of Doug and he carried on the family farm until his retirement at the age of 75. Dear father of Judy and her husband Todd Jermyn of Bobcaygeon, Marilyn and her husband Jim Beecroft of Wasaga Beach, Kathy and her husband John Potter of Peterborough, Trevor Jones and his wife Janice of Bobcaygeon and Ron Jones and his friend Jeanette Grant also of Bobcaygeon.  Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Aaron (Angie) Jermyn, Brett (Jamie) Jermyn, Craig (Jill) Jermyn, Sarah (Ben) Girard, Jamie Beecroft (Samantha McMunnigle), Joel (Alison) Potter,  Amy (Wade) Halbert, Lisa (Darryl) McGuckin, Jillian Jones (John Filipe) and his great-grandchildren, Cade, Luke, Liv, Noah, Isla, Hayes, Rosalyn, Quinn, Sloane, Emily, Kathryn, Brianna, Daniel, Aaron, Jack, Gwendolyn, Audrey, Marley, Owen and Emma. Doug is survived by his siblings;  Joyce Campbell, Beulah Campbell, Ted Jones and is sadly pre-deceased by his sisters Myrtle Griffin and Verna Junkin, and brothers Woodrow Jones and Max Jones. He will be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews.  The family of Douglas Jones will celebrate his life privately on Friday, January 7th, 2022 in the chapel of Jardine Funeral Home, 8 Princes' St. W. Fenelon Falls.
