BRENCHLEY, Reginald:

Reginald Brenchley paased away on August 16th, 2008 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Reginald came to Canada in 1923, aged 4, with his mother and father the late Grace and John Brenchley, and his late brothers Frank and Edgar. They were met by the late sister Daisy and brothers Jack, Herbert, and Harold, and departed to Niagara Falls to live. Reginald was an ardent sportsman, participating in baseball, hockey and tennis. The war years arrived and Reginald enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1940. He was a flying instructor until 1946, when he became an industrialist participating in projects in Nebraska and New York, and subsequently in the Toronto area. Reginald is survived by his wife of sixty -five years, Eileen, a son Dr. Reginald Brenchley (Sheila) in Lindsay. and grandchildren Michelle (Norm), Michael (Liza Jane), Garnet (Randi), Samantha (Mohamed), Jasmine (Shawn) and Brooklyn and 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter in law, Maureen Brenchley. The family of Mr. Brenchley will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 8 Princes' Street, West, Fenelon Falls on Monday August 18, 2008 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls on Tuesday August 19, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. On line condolences, memorial donations or to light a memorial candle please visit www.jardinefuneralhome.com
