Sarah passed away very unexpectedly at her mother’s home on Tuesday November 2, 2021, only in her 43rd year. Sarah was the beloved daughter of Cathy Powell- Andrus and the late Carl Powell. Loving sister of Jennifer Powell and her nephew Jacob and niece Madison. Granddaughter of Margaret Powell. Remembered by her many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. The family of Sarah Powell-Duarte will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ St. West, Fenelon Falls on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service from Fenelon Falls United Church on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Norland at 2:00 p.m. Masks and social distancing are mandatory for the people in attendance at the visitation, and proof of Double Vaccination will be required to attend the funeral and reception, either by QR Code or paper copy with proof of identification. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or the Bellwood Health Services would be appreciated by the family.
