Sharon "Sharney" Mary Curnew Alldred

Born - May 4th, 1958 Bell Island, Newfoundland                                                                       

Died - April 24th, 2024 at home, Fenelon Falls, Ontario 

With the heaviest hearts, we are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend "Sharney Mary Curnew Alldred." 

Sharney will be missed by her loving husband, George Alldred Sr., her five children Ann-Marie Hulcoop (Kenneth), Rex King, Katie VandenElsen (Jason), Geannie Alldred (Zed), George Alldred Jr. and grandchildren Samantha Hulcoop and Kenneth Hulcoop. She was excited for the upcoming birth of her third grandchild. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by parents Clarence Curnew and Catherine Lewis of Bell Island, Newfoundland. Sister of Clarence Curnew (predeceased) (Cindy), Mike Curnew (predeceased) (Bride), Cavell Curnew (Brett), Ginette Curnew (Jack), Bonnie Hyde (Eric), Philomena Curnew (predeceased). 

Sharney was truly one of a kind by speaking her mind and doing things her own way. She was a great mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She loved her family and would do anything for each and everyone of them. She was amazing in hospitality. She will always be remembered by her great voice, cooking and her big heart. She enjoyed volunteering for her community. She was blessed with many adored friends. Sharney will be missed dearly.

The family will celebrate and honour her life on her 66th birthday, Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 23 Veteran's Way, Fenelon Falls for a time of fond memories, stories, music, laughter and reception. Friends are invited to the Legion beginning at 3:00 p.m. with some words of remembrance shared around 5:00p.m.  If desired memorial donations to our local Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 238 Fenelon Falls would be appreciated.
