Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Sherry Smalley of Fenelon Falls was in her 72nd year. Marvelous mother of Brandy and her husband Bryan Watson and cherished Gma of River and Raury.
Sherry’s immediate family was the most important focus in her life, she will be so tremendously missed. Sherry had such a fond love of cooking & baking, dancing, art, music, vintage, being creative and her wit was rarely matched. Sherry’s verbiage and comprehension of the English language was remarkable. She wore many hats during her lifetime, caterer, tree planter, group home runner, real estate agent, probation and parole officer, and her longest role was
the housing coordinator for John Howard along with sitting on many non profit boards. During her stay at the Ross Memorial over the years she was so grateful for the staff and especially Dr. Sarah Francis fondly known to her at Saint Francis, she truly made her days.
Sherry is pre-deceased by her sister Pat Smith (2014) and will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews; Roxanne, Ritchie and Rogie. The family of Sherry Smalley will celebrate her life privately with those she loved the most all in the same place later this summer.
