Peacefully surrounded by her family at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay Palliative Care Unit, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Hugh McNamara (2017) for 68 years. Loving mother of Dave McNamara (Linda), Diane McNamara (Paul), Kim Steel (David) and her grandchildren Nick, Meaghan, Devon, Cameron and her great granddaughters Quinn and Eliot. Predeceased by her 9 siblings. In keeping with Vera's wishes a private celebration of her life will be carried out by her family to honour such an amazing woman. Her family are determined to carry on her legacy to put family first, to offer love and support where needed and to enjoy and respect nature. The family wishes to thank the medical teams of the ER. Surgical Dept., and Palliative Care Unit of Ross Memorial Hospital. As well as Linda, her PSW caregiver for her excellent care and support.
