Verna Mary Park (nee Noonan) passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Verna was a loving and devoted wife of John for 60 years, an amazing mother to Rick (Robyn), Sam (Tony), Janice (Allan), Jenn (Ty), cherished grandmother to Jaccy (Tyler) and Alexx. She was a caring sister and best friend to Joan (Gord), and a very special aunt to her nieces and nephews. Verna’s greatest joys were spending time with her family and her dogs. Verna was very active in running the square dance clubs with John. They made many lasting friendships over the years. A Celebration of Life will be held for Verna on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. at the Senior Citizen’s Club of Fenelon Falls at 58 Murray St., Fenelon Falls, Ontario. To know Verna was to know the kindest, gentlest soul who will be forever loved and remembered. If you wish, donations can be made to your local Humane Society on Verna’s behalf.
