Peacefully at Kawartha Lakes Extendicare, Lindsay on Saturday December 17, 2016 in her 91st year. Vicky was the beloved wife of Tony Hofmann, and the late Bill Bassett. Dear mother of Brian and his wife Jane, Barry and his wife Pam, Bob and his wife Jean, predeceased by her sons Blair and Brad. Mother in law of Sandy and Marilyn. Loving grandma of Sandy (Victor), April (Keith), Amy (Jim), Cory (Tonya), Michael, Amanda(Tyler), Kyle (Liz), Jeff (Ashley), Sage, Emily, Darien, Jennifer, Andrew and predeceased by her grandson Barry Jr. Great grandma of fourteen. Fondly remembered by her brother and best friend John and his wife Gail, their children Jeff (Lisa), Susan (Todd), David (Renee), and great aunt to six. The family of Mrs. Bassett - Hofmann will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church , 41 John Street, Fenelon Falls on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
