Peacefully at Kawartha Lakes Extendicare in Lindsay, on Thursday, December 1, 2022. Bill Garrod formerly of Mississauga and Fenelon Falls was in his 89th year.  Beloved husband, married for 30 years, of Anne (nee Brown) Garrod of Lindsay and pre-deceased by his first wife Edna (nee Ellis) in 1991.  Loving father of William Garrod and his wife Vicki of Fenelon Falls, Glen Garrod and his wife Laura of Brampton, Sherrie Coulter also of Brampton, Barbara Rodger and her husband Willie of Marsville and sadly pre-deceased by daughter Cynthia Beaupre (2011) and his infant son Brett.  Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Bill will be forever remembered by his cousin Valerie Coates of Barnsley, England.  The family of Bill Garrod will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, on Tuesday, December 6th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Masonic and funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Brethren of the Spry Lodge #406 and visiting brethren are asked to assemble at 12:45p.m. for a ceremony at 1:00 p.m. Entombment of Bill's cremated remains will take place in the spring.  If desired memorial donations to Kawartha Lakes Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.  To leave an on-line condolence, make a donation or to share a photo or story please visit: www.jardinefuneralhome.com
