Peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Fenelon Court Long Term Care. Earl Godwin of Burnt River was in his 98th year. Beloved husband of Marion Elizabeth (nee Eakins) Godwin (1995). Loving father of Judy Junkin of Oshawa and the late Gary Godwin (2011). Earl was the father-in-law of the late Dale Junkin (2010) and Judy Godwin (1994). Dear grandpa of Dale (Chrystie), Stacey, Jennifer (Anthony) Jason (Corenia) and great-grandpa of Dale Jr., Zoe, Alianna, Nolan and pre-deceased by his granddaughter Amy (1981) and great-granddaughter Kaylyn (2014). Earl is pre-deceased by his siblings, Gladys Watson, Chester, Leonard and Douglas Godwin. A most sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Fenelon Court who welcomed Earl and cared for him so lovingly. The family of Earl Godwin will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, on Tuesday, May 28th from 10:00a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Burnt River Cemetery.
