It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our Mother after celebrating her milestone 90th birthday, Zeta passed away on Wednesday August the 3rd at Lindsay’s Ross Memorial Hospital. Zeta was born July the 14th 1932 to her Salvation Army Officer parents in Shelburne, Nova Scotia. And spent her early years in Toronto and Fenelon Falls. Zeta is survived by her children, Elizabeth, Lance and Paul. Loving Grandmother to Clay, Jake, Charlotte, Sam, Lucie, David and Sarah. After raising her family in Scarborough Ontario and retiring from Scarborough General Hospital. Zeta returned to the Fenelon Falls area to live as she always felt most at home there. Our family would like to express a very special thank you to the emergency room nursing staff, for their kind and compassionate care. They are the real Superstars in this world.  We would also like to express our thanks to Dr. Francis and all the palliative nursing staff for their gentle and kind care in Zeta’s final days. Peace and many blessings to our wonderful Health Care Providers. A private family will be held on Saturday August 13, 2022 at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ Street, West, Fenelon Falls, followed by a public gathering of friends and family from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Cancer Society of Ontario or to the Ross Memorial Hospital in Zeta’s name.
