Peacefully after a brave battle with cancer on Wednesday August 17, 2016 in her 70th year. Beloved wife Richard Hope of Bobcaygeon. Loving sister to Larry Carew (Nancy) , Susan Magill (John) and Bradley (Maire). June will be sadly missed by her many friends, loving family, cats and dogs and her long term soul mate Rick. She was a great lover of the outdoors, a wonderful dart player, a member of the Canadian Legion, and a knitter who never said no to a request for knitted socks for a fund raiser. A celebratory Gathering of family and friends will take place at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Monday August 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Kawartha Lakes Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
