Alf was a loving grandfather of Susan Doucet, Robert and his wife Paula Doucet, Neil Galazka and his wife Maria, Bruce Haryott and his wife Darlene, Darren Haryott, Lucas Haryott, Barrie-Ann and her husband Jamie Fink, Kim Haryott, Keith Haryott and his wife Melanie, Sherry and her husband Chuck Courtois, Alana Given and his 15 great grandchildren.
