It was with great sadness that I learned of Barry's passing.When I first got on the Fire Dept back in 84,Barry was on the crew that I was assigned to.He was a constant source of encouragement and praise.I remember one particular call that we ran together.WE were on the back of the pumper out of the Woodbine hall, as the pumper sped up Woodbine ave , it hit a bump and Barry;s helmet fell off onto the street.As we ran the call Barry;s hair (OK well what was left of it) flapped in the breeze....WE all had a great laugh for many years ...I feel it an honour and a privilage to have known and worked with such a great person....Barry you will be missed....
