Lucy (Moriarty) LeBlanc

Ray and Family, It is with a heavy heart that I am sending you my deepest condolences. Aunt Betty's passing will leave a big whole in a lot of people's hearts. She was so vibrant and full of life when she was well. She always made me smile when she would give me one of her big bear hugs and call me, "Lulu." I will miss those moments. The year I graduated from high school Betty came to NB for a visit and she was so proud of me. At that time she said I could be anything I put my mind to and her words rang out many years later when I went to university at the age of 43 to get my teaching degree. I am now a teacher and Betty's sage advice is always fresh in my mind. Betty has touched many lives over the years and she will truly be missed. May you take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. Hold tight to all the great memories you have created together. I regret in recent years I have not had the opportunity to see Betty but I know she will be waiting for me on the other side with a beautiful smile on her face with her arms stretched out and ready to give me on of her amazing hugs. God bless.
