Condolences

Condolence From: Michael & Irene Harris (Mapandus 3rd St)
Condolence: We are shocked and saddened to hear the news of Charlie’s passing. Charlie was such a good life long friend to my Dad and to our family and to all the locals at Sturgeon Point. He will be dearly missed by all.. I still have childhood memories of Charlie with his massive red dump truck picking up the weekly garbage and driving over the frozen lake during the winter months…..some of those memories captured on our home movies (film). Our sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to Charlie and the entire family.

Condolence From: Robin and Maureen Ollerhead
Condolence: We were sorry to read of Charlie Gray's passing in today's Globe and Mail. He was very much part of Sturgeon Point. Some of my earliest memories of Sturgeon Point are of Charlie bringing huge blocks of ice to our cottage each week, carrying them as if they were loaves of bread. Charlie was always there to help look after various cottages in our family over the years, and he was the contractor in building and finishing the cottage we now have. And in recent years you could count on Charlie to cruise slowly past each day in his red truck to make sure everything was alright.

Sturgeon Point won't be the same without Charlie.

With many memories over many years, and our sincere sympathy,

Robin and Maureen Ollerhead
