Condolences

Condolence From: Anne Vos
Condolence: Daddy: I miss you very much. You taught me so many things. How to hammer a nail into a piece of wood, the bible and its teachings, love and patience, but most of all..never to judge others. You lived your life to the fullest. I remember one of our last conversations when Ash was home. You said..you had a dream. You called the nurse in, and she asked you if she could help you, and you got up and walked out. You told us that you knew somehow you could do it. Just get up and walk out. I knew at that point medically you couldn't, but your faith always lead me to believe that there may be a glimmer of hope. I think that is what I take with me everyday. You taught me that there is always...a glimmer of hope. It has been a long time since I saw you. I miss you dearly. xoxo P.S. One day, I will see you again, and thank you for being you. You were a kind and gentle man and I am thankful that I was chosen to be your daughter.

Condolence: Dear Claire,
We were both sorry to hear of Clare's death. Although we haven't been close for many years, the friendship that we had many years ago is still very precious. I'm sure these are very hard times for you and your family.
One of your children did live at 66 Aberdeen Street, and a few weeks ago I was previledged to be able to view my old home on an Open House. It sure brought back some very special memories for me.
Claire, now that you are living back in Oshawa, it would be very nice if you could drop by our home and we could have a chance to go over old times.
We live at 776 Grierson Street and our phone number is 905-723-1635.
